Emergence
During this long period of lockdown and social distancing to covid, I found myself stopped creatively. This went on for months. It was ironic that finally I had the time to create, but neither the energy, nor the drive. I was dormant like a seed buried in the ground waiting for something to spark me to life. “Emergence” reflects my awakening, my entry to the creative world.
This work is comprised of handformed and glazed ceramics elements, Byzantine glass, and slate on a multi-level substrate.
