"From Brokenness - Light," is a body of work regarding the human condition of personal loss.
"Ring the bells that still can ring, forget your perfect offering, there is a crack, a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in." These words by Leonard Cohen in "Anthem" helped me rediscover hope after personal loss. The pattern of life is broken just like these stones. Yet that same brokenness provides an opening for light and new beginnings. The gold represents light filling in the void and radiating outward.
